but it's the knee-jerk contradictions of these lies that seems to define me.

mmm, i had a situation where my g\f was wanting me to lie to her, but she wouldn't admit it.
that shit is infuriating, because later they are all "but you said it would work out!!!"

Hahaha...what? You don't LIKE being the scapegoat?? :roll:

I think that's one of the big things that's kept my boyfriend I together: My ability to blatantly admit when I am being disfunctional, LOL!

Example: The other day I was hanging on him and he made a face (he was way overtired), and I said, "What? Did you forget how needy I am?" He laughed and we moved on.

Sometimes you need someone to tell you everything is going to be ok even if the outcome is unknown. Although I must say, you can't really go back and yell at others when they tried to give you some confidence. Even if it's false confidence, lol.
