I'm sick of school.
I'm sick of people telling me not to be sick of school.
I'm sick of my fiance being sick of me being sick of school (though I can't blame him).

What are you sick of?

Ugh my apartment is a battlefield! Here I am trying to watch tv or play Mortal Kombat and mosquitos keep attacking me.

I live close to the woods so when bug season hits it REALLY hits. I'll stand outside for a second and get eaten alive. What's worse is if I try to go in and out of the apartment I let in a few mosquitos every time! I need a pet frog or something.

My cats and dogs try to get the mosquitos but they aren't the most skilled hunters, LOL. My cats will chase them successfully until my 56lbs dog sees the bug and ruins everything.

I hope you all are doing well. I should be done with my degree in 3 semesters (including summer)! I'm pretty excited about that!   No new news on the wedding plans. I'm hoping after I get my degree I can move! Lots of craziness going on, but change is good for me. It keeps me on my toes.

I've been really homesick lately. Routine is good but after a while it can make you really blue. I've been trying to not let it get to me. Writing this and trying to think about the future helps me get out of my funk.

Hey, it's me... procrastinating again. :yay:

My fiance and I picked an official wedding date. October 30, 2012 we'll be tieing the knot. It's our anniversary date so we'll just make it our wedding anniversary date too.

It'll be a fall wedding so we'll be using fall colors. But no oranges (at least in the outfits)... yuck. I think he'll be wearing dark brown and we'll have the bridesmaids wear red. Darker reds, not anything too light. Speaking of which I've developed a love/hate relationship with shades. You think you like a color and then you see all the different ways it can be awesome or terrible.

My friends are all giving me a hard time that I'm already trying to plan this stuff so early (we'll have a little over a year before the wedding). They laugh, but the more I look into it the more I see people saying that some stuff needs to be figured out months in advance! I'd rather plan everything too early than wait last minute and not have enough time to plan!

So that's my newest news. I hope you're all doing well.

On Feb 14, 2011 my boyfriend became my fiancee. No plans quite yet, as our schedules are so different. We haven't had a lot of time together to talk about it.

A little bit of backstory. I met Brandon when we both worked at the same job. I've been dating him over 6 years now, almost 3 of which we've been living together.

I'm very happy he finally asked!

On a completely different note, I'm finding it harder and harder to stay motivated through school. I've been trying to think about it in terms of the future for "us" instead of just me, but I think my brain has checked out mentally when it comes to school a LONG time ago.

I need to snap out of it, because I only have 4 more semesters left to get my BAS. Still, it seems harder and harder.

I'm hoping for a lot to happen this year:

It'll be my 7th year with the man I love.
I have 2 jobs when before I couldn't find work!
I'll be continuing my bachelors degree (2 more years of that though! ).
My financial goals include renting a home, buying a new computer and on a more desire based level, buying a PS3.

(Side note: has anyone checked out the 3DS coming out yet? If not, check out Nintendo's website! It looks really neat!).

It's 1am and I have no desire to go to bed. I guess I should since I work tomorrow.
